Slicing Tomatoes
These are the larger tomatoes and tend to be meaty and juicy. What's best will be dictated by your taste buds! Here's what we grew in 2020:
Beefsteak: Large juicy tomatoes you'll want to eat straight from the harvest. Typically a wide tomato, but the round types have a sweeter flavor. Their meaty texture makes them perfect to slice for sandwiches or serve on their own.
Better Boy: One of our favorites that we love to grow every year, producing loads of 1 lb beautifully rounded, large, plump, juicy, meaty, red fruits with excellent taste. Guinness record holder for producing 342 lbs of fruit from one plant!
Paul Robeson: A "black" type tomato with a distinctive smoky and sweet flavor. 6-12 oz brick red fruits with dark green shoulders and a somewhat flattened shape.

Tasty Beef: Productive plants pump out huge quantities of round, perfectly red 4-8 oz tomatoes that are ideal for slicing, sandwiches and salads. Intensely scarlet fruit boasts that delicious old-time tomato flavor with the perfect balance of sweetness and acidity.
Delicious: With a name like that, we had to try it! Plump, meaty fruits that weigh well over a pound are flavorful, juicy, and absolutely delicious! Holds the world record of 7 lbs for heaviest tomato!
Pink Cadillac: This big, beefy tomato has delectably sweet, mild flavor. Lovely bright raspberry-pink, 8-10 oz fruit.
